DAVIDSONIA GIN RELEASE

Animus Davidsonia Gin is an Australian take on a traditional English sloe gin, offering an exciting blend of intense native Australian Davidsonia Plum and the juniper, citrus and classic spice of Animus Macedon Dry Gin. Exquisite neat or served with a dash of soda and a squeeze of lime, this unique expression also offers a distinctive base for a range of cocktails.

In the meantime, here’s a little cocktail recipe to get you excited.
Scarlet Knight
- 45ml Animus Davidsonia Gin
- 15ml Animus Macedon Dry Gin
- 7.5ml Peach Liqueur
- 7.5ml Orgeat
- 7.5ml Port
- 20ml Lemon Juice
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker then fill with ice. Shake well until outside of shaker feels cold. Double strain into a chilled classic coupette glass and garnish with a twist of orange.

INTRODUCING OUR FIRST TEST PRESSING
What is a test pressing, you ask? Test pressings were vinyl records with plain white labels, released to test new music in the market. Animus Test Pressings are new product innovations; a celebration of our shared love of adventure, experimentation and music.
We were all set to release our first Test Pressing next week, but given we are back in lockdown in Victoria, we thought everyone could do with a little cheering up. So here it is early!
ANANAS GIN
For our first Test Pressing we have created Ananas Gin, inspired by our love of Tiki cocktails and lounge music. Ananas is a unique blend of pineapple, lemongrass, and lime alongside the key botanicals we use in our core gin range. It’s amazing neat and pairs perfectly with StrangeLove Coastal Tonic. THE LOCKDOWN LOLA
- 40 ml Ananas gin
- 10 ml Curacao
- 20 ml Coco Lopez
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 10 ml ginger sugar syrup
Shake & pour into Double Rocks glass
Garnish with cracked pepper, edible flowers, pineapple frond, lime rind
